The Scent of Lavender
Who: Obi-Wan Kenobi & You
What: Obi-Wan got a reward! With a very distinct smell.
When: Day 17
Where: Residential Area
Warnings: None atm.
The whole testing experience had been rather trying, and it wasn't just the test either. Anakin was getting more difficult to deal with, and his presence only seemed to make it worse. Despite the Sith Lord being sent to... wherever it was he want, his demeanor had not improved in the slightest.
Obi-Wan knew he was the main target of Anakin's rage, and someone else had gotten hurt trying to help him.
Thus after the testing was done, the Jedi decided to hole himself away in his room again. The man rarely being seen for a week aside for coming out to eat or use the fresher. And that was typically done when he knew Anakin, and probably most everyone else, was asleep. He spent the time in his room meditating for the most part. Rarely even logging into the network.
However, around the 15th or so, some might catch a whiff of a different smell. One that some might recognize as lavender.
Obi-Wan had discovered he's been gifted with a host of cleaning supplies, for personal hygiene and otherwise. He decided to first try some of the personal items. Thus there would be hints of lavender lingering in the men's bathroom due to the Jedi's late night excursions. Using the lavender shampoo, soap, even toothpaste.
However, on the 17th he will be seen in the common areas again at a decent hour. Though before he's seen, anyone coming into the room he's in will be hit with a wall of lavender odor that is exceptionally strong. Yep, he's back to cleaning, and using lavender scented products. Wiping down surfaces with cleaning solution, the bleach if its especially nasty, and so forth. It's really handy having these, but it seems there is a price to pay in one's nose being assaulted.

Really, it didn't taste very food, but it worked. Though he wasn't quite familiar with these products either, but he figured it out. Especially with the ones that had labels.
"I apologize for the smell, but they do help."
He motioned at a nearby table he had just cleaned. It had been very dusty and grimy and now it practically sparkled.
"Hopefully it'll dissipated after awhile."

She turned back towards Obi-Wan, her head canting thoughtfully to the side.
"Hopefully. Until then, maybe you need help? If we finish faster than the smell should dissipate sooner." And hopefully not come back. It was starting to give Yuna a headache.
She missed going outside.

"Of course, you're more than welcome to help."
He then offered her one of the pieces of cloth he found that he had been using as rags.
"In fact, once we're done here, perhaps you could cover the ladies' refresher."
Because, you know, it wouldn't be all that appropriate for him to go in there.

"How do I do this exactly?"
Yuna turned the cloth over in her hand before eyeing the cleaning supplies. "I know how to wipe things down but I'm not sure about this stuff. Do I just use a little or do I put it on the surface and not the cloth?"
He really needed to start at square one.

"I think it depends on how dirty the surface is. This is fairly strong, so I tried diluting it at it seems to work well.
He motions at the bottle of bleach, and the old bucket he found filled with water with some of the bleach in it. Obi-Wan then held up a spray bottle with another cleaner and squirted some of it on the table he was cleaning now before wiping some of the last dirt off of it.
"This one isn't as strong so I think its better to use surfaces that are not as dirty. I'm simply figuring it out as I go."

Yuna nodded, a bright smile pulling across her lips as the directions fell into place. "So I'll use a little bit of this on that table there. It doesn't look like its been cleaned yet." It looked very dirty from where she was standing.
She placed a small bit of lavender cleaning solution onto the cloth before stepping towards the table and running the cloth across the table. It worked a lot better than water.

Still, he seemed to be getting the hang of it rather well, and he had no doubt that she would as well. When she tried cleaning the table, he nodded his approval.
"That's it, you're doing fine."
And more hands made lighter work. With her help they would get this done faster.
"I don't believe we've actually introduced ourselves though. My name is Obi-Wan."
no subject
"Thank you for letting me help."
She liked feeling useful and was never against learning new skills.
