Another New Person
Who: Ahsoka & Padmé (first prompt), OPEN to others (Second Prompt)
What: Introduction
When: End of Day 24
Where: Cryo Pod Area & Residential
Warnings: Nudity for Prompt one.
[FOR PADME:]
[Everything had felt like it was going in slow motion. Ezra was safe, the doors were closing, and it was just her and Darth Vader. Anakin. Her Master. "I will not leave you this time." She told him, and he told her she would die.]
[She should be dead.]
[It was cold. Cold and dark. She had to be dead. That was the only answer for it. Opening her eyes to the dark she could see something clear over her head. Her arms moved, curling as they touched the transparasteal before her. Orange finger tips pressed. What? This wasn't right.]
[Her fist banged into it at first, a sudden undignified panic welling up in her chest. She banged on the door a few times, calling out.] Hey! Let me out!
[And then she stopped, hands resting on the inside of the pod and about to give it a force push. No light had come on just yet. No woosh of it unlocking or opening. Instead, she was going to do it herself, unless someone stopped her.]
[Thankfully that light should come on soon, but not before she closed her eyes and was about to call the Force to help her...]
[OPEN TO ALL:]]
[Once helped out of the pod by Padme, the two ladies spent some time catching up, as in... Why are you alive? How? What is this place? What do you mean Obi-wan is alive? Anakin is different? What the heck is going on!?!?!]
[Once all that was clear (and Ahsoka was showed to a room and clothing) she tried to busy herself in finding more answers. Like where her lightsabers and armor are, or here are her Masters and w hat is wrong with Anakin. After all she just was battling him and it was--it was bad.]
[In the Residential area, in the common room space, a strange orange, blue and white alien in a jump suit milled about, looking for her Masters, yes, but also looking for answers, and new people. She's currently getting acquainted with the place. Apparently there were tests going on? She was curious about that. What kind of tests were these, and why?]
[For anyone in the area, feel free and gawk, or talk to her.]

As such, she finds herself in the room with the strange pods. Again.
LACUNA is nice enough, she supposes, to light her way through the rows and rows of abandoned containers. A closer look at one shows that the glass face plate is clouded, misted as if frozen over with moisture from someone breathing inside. The thought is enough to make her shiver in horror and move quicker along the row towards the pod she'd stepped from so recently. It's then that she realizes that another not far from her own is moving.
She runs over and looks at the tiny name plate.
Ahsoka Tano.
She gasps and looks at the pod on the other side of the now shaking, yet silent box. No name. Every other pod has a name on it.]
Ahsoka!
[She frantically tries to find a way to get her fingers into a seam, but there are none.]
Ahsoka? Can you hear me?
no subject
[Just as she was about to push with the Force, a muffled sound hit her. She stopped, and tried to look out her own fogged glass, breath catching to try and hear her. She could swear she knew that voice, but there was no way.]
Stand Back. I'm going to--[There was a sudden light that turned on, cutting through the dark, and a wooosh of cold air as the pod door started to open.]
[Groaning she lifted a hand to her head, feeling the cold hit all of her. Where were he cloths?] Thank you for getting it open? [she stated before even looking at who it was.]
no subject
She steps back and is rewarded by the door opens and she gets a better look.]
I didn't do anything. That would be the work of our new guide, who is called LACUNA, for want of a better designation.
no subject
[And now she was staring at her, alive, just outside a pod. What ever was said about LACUNA and designations was lost for the moment (but filed away) as she stared. Pushing from the pod she moved to get out and stand, still staring.]
P-Padmé? [Her voice was full of confusion and shock. How?]
no subject
Although, to see the woman she'd known as such a dear friend of Anakin so distressed, it saddens her a great deal.]
Here in the flesh, Ahsoka. Somehow, LACUNA's technology is better than anything I've seen available.

[Hugs weren't the most Jedi thing, but Anakin always had a spare one here and there, so Ahsoka grew to like them. Need them sometimes. Right now, one of the most influential women in her life, who she hadn't seen for so long, was standing there before her. Alive.]
I can't believe it's you. Whoever LACUNA is, I'd like to talk to them.
[Thank them, praise them, boggle at them, question their powers of playing with the force, anything...]
Sorry. Sorry... It's just... [she started to pull back, almost bashful.]
no subject
And, well, she's been married to Anakin for years now. Hugs as greetings are rather par for the course. Besides, she's missed having Ahsoka around. Since she'd been kicked from the Jedi Order (something Padmé was not really supposed to know about but did anyway), Anakin had been angrier, had let his emotions lead him more and more the longer things continued. But a hug? She's always loved those. Her family has always been close.
As Ahsoka's arms enclose her, she gives in and hugs the other woman back. It's so good to see her after two years. So kriffing good.]
LACUNA is our automated guide. She speaks to us through the speaker systems and some of the terminals and devices around this facility. You can speak to her, but I don't think she'll answer your questions. She's been extremely unhelpful so far.
[Padmé lets her go, but doesn't move far away. She stands between her naked friend and the door, hoping to shield her from anyone who might show up.]
It's fine. Never apologize for that. It's been too long since we've last seen one another.
no subject
[None the less, seeing her was amazing and slightly worrying. She drew back and looked the younger woman over. It's like she didn't age at all. And she noticed how the other shielded her a bit from view.]
[Why was she naked? Geeze. Where is her armor and weapons? She drew back enough to cross her arms, some small modesty, though it was clear she wasn't upset over it.]
That sounds a bit suspicious. I'm also more than confused on how you're here, and why I am naked. Can we go somewhere to fix that while we talk? [she noticed the lights leading them on]
no subject
She's no longer the girl Anakin called "Snips", but a woman fully grown.]
I am starting to think that nothing here is as it seems. I woke up just like you have in one of these pods. Naked. [And no longer showing any signs of being pregnant, which still hurts her. Immensely.] As for rectifying it, I can show you to the wing where we've all been assigned a room.
Before we do that, Ahsoka, I have to tell you something. We're not alone. Obi-Wan and...Anakin... are both here.
What do you know about what happened on Mustafar?
no subject
[She didn't have modesty issues anymore, though she moved to cross her arms over herself anyhow, alowing her two frontal leeku to rest over her chest in a modest way. She nodded to the other to tell her to lead the way, though she would fall into step with her and the lighted hall way.]
[So they weren't alone, huh? Obi-wan was here, and alive? Anakin too? She tensed up at Anakin's name, eyes growing harder a moment as she had just stared at that face through a broken black mask.]
It's good to know they are alive as well. [she said at first, hiding what she did know. But that last question...]
Unfortunately, I don't know much about what happened on Mustafar in your time, though I have a feeling it was nothing good. [After all, for her the last time she had seen the two Masters she had been on Mandalore with Rex before the attack.] Last I heard of either of them was... not good.
no subject
She's not the most disturbing entity he's ever encountered, to be sure- aside from the head crest, she barely even looked demonic- but he'd never encountered anything that looked like her.
Her people might not even exist in his world, come to think of it.
Still. She certainly didn't strike him as... demonic. She seemed primarily curious.]
"You must be a newcomer."
no subject
[She was in the common space, looking around as if still trying to figure it all out. So as a man spoke, she stopped, turning to look back at the other a moment. Her head tilted and and lifted a bit, eyeing him before she gave a faint smile.]
"You could say that. I just woke up here not too long ago."
